We are a high-tech enterprise engaged in the development of cathode and anode materials for sodium-ion and lithium-ion batteries, as well as related battery research. Our products are applied to residential energy storage, commercial and industrial energy storage, power batteries for new energy vehicles, charging supporting equipment, battery management systems (BMS), echelon recycling of spent batteries and production of high-end battery materials. We serve major clients in over 80 countries, including OEMs, ODMs and well-known international brands, with some partnerships lasting more than 20 years. Our projects have been successfully launched in multiple scenarios such as power supply, energy storage and two-wheeled vehicles.
Our core team has over 10 years of experience in sodium-ion battery research and development. The company’s research institute is staffed with 12 doctors and postdoctoral researchers, who focus on the development of sodium-ion battery material systems as well as the verification and iteration of new products. We develop sodium-ion batteries featuring low cost, long service life, high safety, high energy density and excellent rate performance. Proficient in chips, electronics and artificial intelligence, the team led the listing of the former group company back in 2014.
The sodium-ion battery pilot production line achieved mass production two years ago. The pilot line, together with the material and cell R&D center, is located in Guangzhou High-Tech Zone, covering a total area of over 10,000 square meters. Sodium-ion batteries manufactured at our Jiangsu base have entered large-scale production and delivery, and our 5,000-ton battery material production base is also in full operation.
Industry-leading Strengths
Zmartec Energy independently develops and produces the core cathode materials for sodium-ion batteries. The new-generation sodium-ion batteries to be launched adopt high-voltage and high-capacity technology, with an open-circuit voltage of 3.6 V and a charging cut-off voltage of 4.2 V. In comparison, mainstream sodium-ion batteries in the industry generally have an open-circuit voltage of 2.6 V and a charging cut-off voltage below 3.0 V. Our voltage platform technology is a leader among domestic and global peers.
Sodium iron pyrophosphate phosphate (NFPP) and sodium iron sulfate polyanion (NFS), our cathode materials, have long been produced and supplied on a large scale.
Energy storage battery packs have also realized full-scale production and delivery. Power batteries are supplied in bulk as well, with all performance indicators ranking top in the industry. They deliver stable performance when applied to national defense equipment, making them dual-use technologies for both military and civilian purposes. The applicable scenarios include two-wheeled vehicles, starting power supplies, heavy-duty trucks, backup power supplies for data centers, residential and commercial & industrial energy storage, as well as portable 3C devices.
Our conductive materials are currently in mass production with state-of-the-art technologies.
Our technical team has also developed solid-state battery technology as a technical reserve. These batteries reach an energy density of up to 600 Wh/kg and enable a driving range of 1,000 kilometers on a single charge. Currently, they are supplied to national defense equipment in small batches with excellent performance.
